  1.   Here is the information on the  first  world-wide Battle Droids
  2. match!  Build your most viscious nasty killer droid, and send its
  3. program on a disk with a $5 entry fee to:

  9.   Your droid will be put in the arena  against droids from across
  10. the world.  Only the best will  survive.    The  competition will
  11. start November 1, 1988.  Send your  droid program in by then, and
  12. you'll get back your disk with the programs of the top 10 droids!
  13. You can  analyze  these,  and  build  better  ones  for  the next
  14. competition.  Four droids will  be  run through ten battles.  The
  15. top scoring two will go to the  next  round.   The competition is
  16. double elimination, so your  droid  must loose twice before being
  17. eliminated.  T-shirts are in  the  works  for prizes!  So send in
  18. your best!
